The éS Summer 2019 collection is inspired from the energy of basketball courts of the 60’s & 70’s. During this period the ABA added a new flare and excitement to basketball that changed the game, similar to what éS has done for skate shoes since 1995. We’re excited to add colorways from infamous teams such as Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburg, San Antonio, and St.Louis. These and the 197s are great The only thing I have to complain about either one of the shoes is the soul If it was the original soul the same design and everything in the 298s if it had the same soul it would be even better same thing with the 197s if it had the little air bubble they used to have in the back and the same soul it would make those shoes 10 times better than they are and also come out with the 197s white leather with red sole just like back in the day. But keep coming out with these Hopefully you make the k4s again
Look like no other shoe, super comfortable out of the box, very padded. Flicking area for kickflips is much more durable than a shoe like the sophisto
I have cerebral palsy and use leg braces and they fit perfectly nicely wide
Feel similar to Accel OG board feel wise. Little tighter in the arch. Materials feel and look good. Hyped to finally get a pair of these after wanted the Koston 1s back in the day.
